The Veneto Region and the Regional School Office for Veneto - through the School-Region Memorandum of Understanding "Health in all Policies" - offer to schools of all levels and degrees many initiatives and projects which can be usefully adopted by teachers to face or reinforce important issues for the well-being of children and kids.

This year many initiatives explicitly refers to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the plan of action for people, planet and prosperity, signed in 2015 by the UN member countries, which includes 17 objectives. The topics of these initiatives - ranging from promoting healthy lifestyles to protecting our environment - are developed acknowledging that much can be done directly, for us and for the environment.

Among the initiatives available to school-classes participation there is also Life Phoenix for the School, which is aimed at students of secondary school, with the intention of sensitizing the younger generations regarding the value of water and its optimal use, the problems related to pollution, PFAS in particular, and the adequate measures to safeguard our water resources.
